So who are Uncouth Training?

We often get asked what the uncouth in our name actually stands for; perhaps that’s a sign that we should change it. Problem is it’s pretty much perfect…

We are uncouth because we don’t behave the way the status quo says we should, we take the most creative, innovative, and efficient approach to the issue at hand.

We are uncouth because we can make you feel uncomfortable. Sounds grim but that’s how we grow!

And yes, we are uncouth because sometimes we’re just really fucking excited and no other word will suffice!

With over a decade’s worth of experience across traditional, vocational, and alternative training provisions, Uncouth Training is perfectly placed to support your (or your students’) learning.

We’re a baby organisation so our website is under construction, please bear with us as we add more details regarding how we can help you, and (shock horror!) how much we charge.

And, as we were founded by a coach, we’ll take this opportunity to ask for feedback; whether that’s information you’d like to be shared that isn’t, resources that you’d like collated, anything really. We’re here to listen!

Message from our Founder

Wow, doesn’t Founder sound formal?? That’ll take some getting used to…

I much prefer Chief Joy Officer, as joy is at the core of my approach to learning and development. Emotions are required for our brains to create those lovely neural pathways at the core of our memories, and my thinking is why shouldn’t we aim for the fun ones?

I believe that you, yes you, are the one with the power to achieve your goals (even if you aren’t entirely sure what they are yet!) my job is to guide you there.

Whether that’s by asking some (seemingly) strange questions, explaining how to bash a window function into shape, or crafting an exercise that will delight (rather than dismay) your employees…together we’ve got this!
